Chapter 1: Just Another Memorable Day
It’s been a while since I had this chance. Fresh air!! Picturesque indeed. I need to forget all the past. All that happened is going to hurt me more if I keep on remembering it. Haizzzzz.. *sigh* Will everything going to be fine after this?
“Jane! Wake up!!”
What!! What happened??
“Hey! You need to wake up before I kick you out of the bed! Jane!!”
“I’m soo sleepy, Van. Can’t I sleep a bit more while??”
“NO!! Wake up!! You promise me to go out with me today. Come on!! Where’s your promise??”
Aish. This girl ah. Cannot let me sleep in peace. Haizzz.. I totally forgot about today. Yay.. Why did I promise her the other day.
“Okay. As I promise. Let me get ready. 20 minutes please!!”
“10 minutes!!”
“Aish. 15 minutes!!”
“Okay. Be fast!! I need to buy lots of stuff. Hehehe..”
Huh.. What an evil smile she had.

“Hey, Van. Do I miss out something here? Did I invite Jay as well?”
“Yearp!! You did invite him. Why you didn’t remember?? Are you ok??”
“Sorry. All the works and assignments make me totally a forgetful person. ”
“Yerrrr.. How could you. I think today going to be fun. It’s been a while since we three best friend go out together. ”
“Hello, ladies!! I’m glad to see both of you. WoW!! I think we rarely seen each other nowadays. Jane, your hair is longer than before. Van, I think you lose some weight. Thank God you invite me today. It’s nice to be around both of you. Hehe..”
Just like what Van said earlier, today is extremely a great day. Together with my two best friend. I never imagine a better day than spend my precious time with Van and Jay. They are my childhood best friend. It’s been 15 years they stay by my side. Since I’m the youngest, they sometimes treat me like a small child. Jay is one year older than Van and me. Even though he’s the oldest, when he was upset it’s hard to persuade him. Van, she is like my older sister since I’m the only child in my family. Her parents were a good friend of my parents. She’s been living with me after both her parents past away in a tragic accident while we both still in kindergarten. Ever since that, my whole family accepts her with open hearted and treats her like our own family.
Hurmmm.. Jay..
“Jane!! What are you day dreaming about??”
“Huh?? Nothing. Just thinking about my assignments.”
“Aish. Girl, take a break. Could you rest just a day? Give your brain some rest.”
“Okay, Van UMMA!!”
“Aish. Stop calling me that!! AHJUMMA!!HAHAHA!!”
“Okay!! We’ll see who will score better in Korean test next week. We’ll see..”
“Nyah!! I’m going to beat you. I will score 100!!”
“Wooo!! Ladies.. Come on!! It’s late. We better get going.”
“OKAY!!”
Both I and Van laugh at the same time.
